Max 2 Stage Filter - If you are concerned about fluoride in your water, heavy levels of sediment and are looking for a maintenance-free filter good up to 8,000 gallons of an average of 2 years of use.
Pure 10K Filter - If you are concerned about tap water contaminants in your drinking water, heavy levels of sediment and are looking for a filter that's under $100, maintenance-free and good for up to 10,000 gallons or an average of 3 years of use.

What does the home filters remove from my water?
The Max 2 Stage Filter System is uniquely designed to remove 95% of fluoride and both the Pure 10k and Max will remove 99.9% of tested contaminants found in municipal tap water without stripping essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium. Unlike reverse osmosis systems, which strip away all minerals and contaminants, both the Pure 10k and Max Filter System leaves these essential minerals untouched.

What's the micron rating on the Home Filters?
The Max 2-Stage Filter and Pure 10K are both adsorption filters that use an adsorption filtration system and do not have a micron rating. Both the Pure 10K and Max Filter media absorbs contaminants with the proprietary filter media, which is certified by the WQA to NSF/ANSI 42 for Chlorine taste, odor and NSF/ANSI 372 for lead free compliance.
*3 Years: The Pure 10k Filter can be used up to 10,000 gallons from municipal tap water or an average of 3 years. More frequent replacement may be necessary depending on the average usage amount from your cold water tap line. The Stage 1 Fluoride Filter can be used up to 5,000 gallons from municipal tap water or an average of 1.5 years. The Stage 2 All Tap Filter can be used up to 8,000 gallons from muncipal tap water or an average of 2 years. More frequent replacement may be necessary depending on the average usage amount from your cold water tap line.
