When Survivor Filter customers speak, we listen.
Over the years, our customers have given us phenomenal feedback about a filter bottle. They told us how much they loved the convenience, crisp water taste and convenience for their children to their senior parents.
They had just two requests: An easy water filter for any age range, Made in USA
We’re proud to announce: We now have what customers asked for!
Based on amazing feedback from our customers, we partnered with Nalgene to offer a BPA- free Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) that leaves no aftertaste or intake of any leaching toxin, no transfer of taste or smell, and is virtually indestructible. Nalgene bottles are designed with pharmaceutical grade materials, the same used in the medical industry.
Additionally, all packaging for the bottle is 100% recyclable and constructed with sustainable material sourced within the USA.
Not only do we make our filters and our bottles in the USA, but we also make our packaging in the USA from 100% recycled material that uses soy based biodegradable ink that is fully recyclable and non-harmful to the environment.

How is this different from the Pro Pump, Straw and Pro X?
The Active All Terrain is a very different type of filter in comparison to the PRO and Straw models.
The AAT (Active All Terrain) uses ionic adsorption & activated carbon filter that draws in contaminants like a magnet as they pass through. It's been tested in accredited labs to meet NSF 42&53 and removes 99.99999% of Bacteria and 99.9% of Parasites, lead, chlorine, VOCs, toxic chemicals, and heavy metals, while leaving in beneficial minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
However, it will not take out anything smaller like viruses. It's a great filter for chemically contaminated water. The AAT has a much shorter lifespan in comparison to the PRO & Straw filter as it captures pathogens and contaminants like a magnet and cannot be backflushed.
So what about virus filtration?
If there are viruses present in the water source, use potassium iodine tablets or add in 2 drops of iodine and wait 20 minutes before drinking. The Active All Terrain Filter will remove the iodine in the water.
What type of plastic is the Active All Terrain made of?
The Active All Terrain Bottle is made from safe, non-leaching BPA-free LDPE (recycle code #4). LDPE is widely used in the food industry thanks to its effective moisture barrier properties, doesn't release harmful chemicals, is virtually indestructible, and resists acids, bases, and oils.
Bread bags, food wrappings, squeezable bottles, cereal bags, and plastic sandwich bags are other examples of products that are commonly made from LDPE.
